Site Assistant

We are currently looking for a Site Assistant for our client’s boiler project in Tampere, Finland. Start of the project is in the end of July 2021. The estimated project length is 13 months.

Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Work in a safe manner without risk to him/her selves, others or the environment
  • Obey HSE policy and related instructions
  • Comply with site rules
  • To complete all Client-required Safety Training.


  • Assist with the daily diary of main events
  • Assist with Weekly progress report.
  • Assist with Monthly progress report.
  • Assist with Site Notifications.
  • Assist with NCRs to Customer
  • Provide timesheets with short description for site manager approval on weekly basis


  • Assist in the training and management of all Client personal on site.
  • Provide excellent customer service to create value for the Client’s customer.
  • Assist the Client’s employees with accommodation and authorities.
  • Assist the Client’s employees with registration at Swedish tax office.
  • Work with employees to meet their individual needs and site objectives
  • Coordinate and assist to conduct site specific training.
  • Assist with time-keeping for employees on site.
  • Maintain the site facility that is organized and meets standards at all times.
  • Support in the purchasing of material with local provider.
  • Collaborate with site manager to verify compliance of the Client’s contract documents, safety & health requirements, quality and schedule by Customer.
  • Assist the Site Manager with Quality, Safety, personnel scheduling and performance management.
  • Attend meetings as required and prepare the corresponding MoM.
  • Local hotel, car and travel arrangements for Client visitors.


  • At least 2 year of working experience as Site Assistant or Construction Assistant.
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).
  • Positive & hand-on attitude.
  • Effective people management.
  • Experience in Purchasing is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Language skills:

  • Very good level of English (Speaking and Writing).
  • Excellent level of Finnish (Speaking and Writing).
